
* General Information *
- Intra Club competition sessions are generally held on Saturday mornings with some Sunday evenings. The morning sessions are usually from 6:30am to 8:30am, with evening sessions from 5.15 pm to 7.30 pm.
- Generally, NO INTRA CLUB will be held on school holidays, long weekends, mother’s day or father’s day.
- In general, intra club competitions are not cancelled for any swim meet that is not a designated club meet. If a swimmer chooses to swim at a published swim meet that conflicts with intra club comps, then attendance will be recorded for intra club, however they wont earn points in the club program. Please advise the Head Coach or Team Manager when attending other swim meets.
- Parent’s assistance is required during all intra club competitions. Please make yourselves available to the organiser for time keeping and other duties as required.

Junior Novice Events – 25m or 12.5m events for freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke will be held during these programs for registered younger brothers and sisters of swimmers.
Age Events (19 & over) - These will be held for anyone including parents who are registered and wish to compete during club nights.
Special Events – These are listed on the club calendar and are open to change if necessary:
- Monbulk Skins.
- MAC Olympic Challenge
- MAC Swimathon.
- Christmas Break-up.
- Club Championships.
Compulsory Club Meets For Per Year
- Ringwood Annual Swim Meet - Ringwood.
- Metro South Swim Meet - MSAC
- Western Region Games (Footscray)
- District Championships. (Ringwood)
( Entry in other meets as recommended by respective coaches. )
The Head Coach and /or Team Manager may change a compulsory meet or name additional club meets if it is deemed suitable in sufficient times for entries to be made.
Club Championships - These are held at the conclusion of each season and are a great finale to the year. At Club Championships various perpetual and other trophies are awarded some of these are:
- Watson Fly trophy -
Furthest under or closest to if no one under appropriate age State qualifying time; for 100m Butterfly
- 400m Handicap trophy –
- For the swimmer who swims within their Handicap Time and wins the event after calculation of handicaps. To enter this event it is necessary to have a current 400 time to make it fair for all participants.
Points are awarded in each age group event. Bonus points are awarded for participation in special events.
